Power Outages
In the past five years, our power
has been on 99.9% of the time! However, there are circumstances
outside of our control such as weather and equipment failure that can
cause power outages. If you experience an outage, take the following
steps to ensure power will be restored to your home or business
quickly and safely.
-
Check your fuses and breakers in
your switchbox panel.
-
Report an outage to NVEC at (509)
634-4571 day or night. Please give your name, address, time of the
outage and any unusual weather conditions. If the outage occurs
outside the regular business hours (M-F 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) your call
will forward to an answering service. An on-call employee will be
paged to respond to your outage or emergency.
-
STAY AWAY from downed power lines,
trees entangled in lines and broken utility poles.
