Electric Ambassadors
Nespelem
Valley Electric Cooperative (NVEC) meets with our elected officials on a
regular basis to express our concerns about deregulation and other issues
that might impact rates – but it’s not enough. Elected officials want to
hear from our members – you, the
voters. The more voters they hear from, the more they will pay attention
to what we are saying.
If NVEC is to fight for affordable rates, we need
your help. We invite you to participate in the Electric
Ambassador program. Electric Ambassadors are members who volunteer to
contact their elected officials when legislation is being considered that
could affect rates, power supply or member service. It’s also a great way
to learn more about your non-profit, rural electric cooperative. As an
Electric Ambassador, we will provide you with information about important
issues for NVEC, timely newsletters, as well as opportunities to meet with
your elected officials. You are never under any obligation, but we hope you
will help when the time comes. To sign up, please contact our office at (509) 634-4571 or send and
email with your name and address to
info@electricambassadors.com.
