Money available to help with utility bills

Many of our low income and senior members are struggling to pay their utility bills in today’s economy. The following agencies can be contacted for assistance with electric bills.

Soon the NVEC monthly electric bills will have a section where a member can opt to donate to a NVEC Low Income Energy Assistance Fund.

The funds in the NVEC Low Income Energy Assistance Fund will be distributed as the need arises to NVEC low-income customers.

NVEC Members can call the office during business hours at (509) 634-4571 and make a donation to a specific member’s electric bill or to the Low-Income Energy Assistance Fund which will be distributed as the need arises to NVEC’s low income customers.
